Agentic AI Chat workflows

In Boards > ClearSpecs AI > AI Chat, you can work through multi-step requests: the assistant may look up live work items, ask a short follow-up when something is ambiguous, and present proposed creates or updates for you to accept or edit.

Good fits​

  • Turn a rough goal into backlog work - Draft child stories or tasks from a parent epic, then narrow scope in follow-up turns.
  • Test ideas - Ask for test cases against an existing item; review and adjust before creating work items.
  • Summaries and deltas - “What changed since last sprint?” style questions tied to real work items (within your permissions).

Tips​

  • Answer follow-up questions precisely - they reduce wrong assumptions.
  • Prefer review steps when the assistant proposes writes; treat suggestions as drafts.
  • For policy-sensitive edits, match your team’s Definition of Done and branch/process rules.
